Their second son will be born in the fall, according to Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith

A rare blood condition will prevent Mandy Moore from achieving

a medicated birth this fall with her second child.

Her autoimmune disorder, immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP),

prevented her from getting an epidural during childbirth.

Acing that mountain one more time is possible. I can do it again even though

my platelets are too low for an epidural," Moore told "Today Parents."

Mandy Moore will not be able to give birth medicated because of a rare blood condition
