In 1970s Britain, Bernard Cribbins was the voice of "The Wombles" and star of 'Doctor Who.' He was 93.

As Tom Campbell in the 1966 film "Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D., 

 Cribbins gained wide recognition for his memorable performances in the BBC's iconic "Doctor Who" series 

He later returned to the show as Wilfred Mott 

the grandfather of actor Catherine Tate's Donna. Between 2007 and 2010, Cribbins portrayed Mott.
